Vascular Procedures Now at Surgical Institute

Earlier in June, Dr. Samir Patel and Dr. Ross Melvin performed the first peripheral vascular procedures at the new Cardiovascular Surgical Institute. The Surgical Institute, which first opened in November 2025, has been slowly and steadily expanding the procedures available with the addition of new technology including laser arthrectomy. These new technologies can open calcified lesions in the blood vessels of the legs and restore circulation. The Surgical Institute provides a fast, easy, comfortable and convenient alternative to the hospital for patients who will not need an overnight stay. Dr. Amir Haghighat, Dr. Tim McShurley, and Dr. Ajay Mhatre will be offering vascular procedures at the Surgical Institute as well.
